Safe Sex Animation

This third bit of uni work is something I’m still very proud of. It was created back in the second year of my degree (so yep going back to 2005 again). The brief was a 3 minute animated educational film. Alot of other student tried to go down the much more realistic route, but we thought we would leave all that to Pixar and be a lot more realistic by creating a more cartoony type film.

I made the film with my fellow uni housemates (Gavin, Pete and Rich), and also we had a friend with an animation degree on tap for constant badgering and questions (cheers again for your help Dave!)

We basically left this one til the very last minute (as you do in the early days of uni) and left ourselves with just 4 days to create it. We did all the 3D in StudioMax, the intro stuff is done in Flash, and for the editing we used Premiere. Rich did a fantastic job with the audio, which really bought the whole thing together.
